The Fishing Experience at The Lilly Pad Village is a calm, beginner-friendly introduction to fishing in the North Georgia mountains. Set beside a shady forest backdrop just 8 miles from downtown Blue Ridge, this experience invites families and kids to enjoy the simple joy of fishing in a quiet, spring-fed pond.

No license or experience is needed — just show up and cast a line using the provided cane poles and bait. Staff are on hand to offer help and encouragement, making it a perfect way to introduce kids to fishing or enjoy a peaceful hour outdoors. The pond is stocked and regularly visited by fish, so there's always excitement when the bobber dips.

If you have your own rods and reels, please feel free to bring them or simply rent ours! However, we ask that no treble hooks or corn be used as this activity is catch and release.
While we typically offer unlimited fishing for the day, please note that during peak season (July) and busy holiday weekends, we may limit fishing time to two hours per group to ensure everyone can enjoy the pond.
