Guest restrictions
-Minimum age is 12 years old.
-Minimum weight requirement is 100 pounds.
-Maximum weight of 260 pounds.
-Riders must NOT be under the influence of alcohol, drugs or anything that may impair balance.
-Guests should be prepared to stand for the length of the tour (typically < 120 minutes)
-Guests should be able to shift their weight from side-to-side while bending their knees and hips.
-Clear vision and functional hearing are imperative to tour safely.
-Pregnant guests in their first trimester only are permitted to participate.
-Guests will receive group Segway training as well as individual training.
-Guests will be provided with a helmet
-Guests will be required to sign a release of liability waiver
-Guests will be required to complete an orientation checklist
-Riders under 18 must have a parent sign waiver and at least one parent or guardian be on tour with them.

What is the age & weight limit?
We do not have age limits but weight limit. All riders must be between 75lb and 300lb. All riders under the age of 18 must be accompanied with one adult and their parents will need to sign waivers for the riders.

What happens if it rains?
Segway Tours run rain or shine. But don’t worry, some of our best tours have taken place in less-than-perfect weather! We have ponchos available to borrow, or feel free to bring your own!

Does every rider have to sign a waiver?
All Segway PT riders must sign a liability waiver before participating in Segway Tour. All Riders under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian sign for them.

Know before you go

How do I learn to ride a Segway PT?
All customers are required to take a 20-30 minute hands-on training session to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. Riders will watch a safety training video and will be trained on Segway operation and emergency stops. All riders are required to wear a safety helmet at all times while on the tour. We do provide helmets and you are more than welcome to bring your own too.

How hard is to learn to ride a Segway ?
First of all, everyone who doesn’t have a problem balancing themselves will be able to operate a Segway. The Segways are self-balanced machines, so you don’t need to balance them. Our professionally trained tour guides will provide you with safety training and teach you how to safely ride a Segway before you take your tour.
