Overview
Set out on a 1.5-hour guaranteed whale watching adventure along Maui’s calm and scenic south shore, launching from the convenient Kihei Boat Ramp—the closest departure point to Wailea.
This tour is designed for maximum whale viewing and minimum travel time. Our fast and nimble rafts quickly get you to where the whales are, giving you more time with the whales and less time cruising around.
During whale season (Dec–Apr), Maui’s south coast becomes a sanctuary for Humpback mothers, calves, and escort males. Morning departures offer the calmest ocean conditions, perfect for photography and eye-level viewing.
We never approach whales closer than federal guidelines allow, but our small rafts often attract curious Humpbacks, leading to magical, close-range encounters that feel personal and unfiltered.
Listen in real-time with our onboard hydrophone—a rare chance to hear the whales sing beneath the waves.
Our tours are fully narrated and led by trained naturalists who’ll share fascinating information about the whales’ behaviors, life cycles, and migration.
Whale Sighting Guarantee
