Emerald Coast Science Center’s mission is to inspire and grow a scientifically engaged community. Experience workshops, exhibits, and opportunities for a wide range of interests at the museum, for a wide range of ages! The center is also home to over 35 exotic animals, all of whom are rescued or adopted, to help teach guests about native, nonnative, and invasive species.
The Emerald Coast Science Center is a dynamic, interactive museum designed to inspire curiosity and foster a love for science among visitors of all ages. The center features a variety of exhibits and activities, including:
Robotics Lab: Engage with programmable robots and explore the basics of coding and engineering.
SciPad: Experience augmented reality and interactive games that make learning science fun.
Hurricane Simulator: Feel the force of hurricane winds in a safe, controlled environment.
Live Animal Exhibits: Meet and learn about various animals, including reptiles and small mammals.
Outdoor STEAM Pavilion: Participate in science, technology, engineering, art, and math activities in an open-air setting.
Emerald Coast Ecosystem Exhibit: Explore the local environment and its diverse wildlife through interactive displays.
The center also offers educational programs, workshops, and special events throughout the year, making it a hub for science education and family entertainment.

Summer (Memorial Day – Labor Day): Monday – Saturday, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM; Closed Sunday
Fall/Winter (Labor Day – Memorial Day): Wednesday – Saturday, 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM; Closed Sunday – Tuesday
