Overview
Eating Asheville profiles (and samples) some of the very best of the bustling foodtopia that is downtown Asheville. Each daily walking tour is lead by an Eating Asheville tour guide (aka an expert ambassador of Asheville’s food scene). They'll weave in and out of the tastiest spots in town and enjoy at least two drink pairings!
Know before you go
Weather: The tours are held rain or shine. Please check weather conditions and dress accordingly. Tickets are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled. Occasionally, Eating Asheville will reserve the right to cancel a tour if there are not enough participants. If this occurs, Eating Asheville will refund your tickets or reschedule your tour.
Parking: Yes, there are several parking lots and street parking near our Tour starting places. For Downtown tours there are parking garages on Wall St., at the Civic Center and Rankin Street; in West Asheville free parking is available at Grace Baptist Church and on the street. For the South Slope, parking is available on the street.
Gratuities are not necessary for the restaurants & their staff. Your tour guides are always appreciative of tips, although they are not required.

Health: Guests on our tours should be able to walk about one mile total over hills and some uneven sidewalks. Some stops may have stairs with no elevators. If you think you might require assistance such as those traveling by wheelchair or with stroller, please contact Eating Asheville in advance so Eating Asheville can do our best to assist you. Due to the nature of the food tour, Eating Asheville is unable to accommodate dietary restrictions.

Cancellations must be made more than 72 hours before your scheduled tour time to be eligible for a refund.
